A toast to the Fantastic Crest Hardware Fest & to Art at Unusual Places!
On June 13, 2009 the Eyelevel Gallery exhibited public art in support to the festival “A toast to Crest” to raise funds for Macri Park in Brooklyn, NY. The collaborating artists were from FEAST (Funding Emerging Art with Sustainable Tactics), Carlton Scott Sturgill with his new collection and Factoria de Santos with Mezcal San Honesto accompanied by worm salt and oranges and an altar-store.
During the event a performance was held by Work for Pay, Hot Dog Hot Dog por Joey Zvejnieks and The Great Trans-Gowanus Cable. There was also live music by Matt Lament, Dilian, and Band Practice.
A toast to crest and to all the honest people that attended the event. We want to thank Eyelevel Gallery for the invitation and we are patiently waiting for San Honesto’s next exhibition on December 12, 2009.
